I would ask him what heritage and history means to him, on the grounds that the government isn’t spending enough on heritage and seems to be under the impression that it’s something only Tory-voters are interested in (which is definitely not the case. Heritage is for everyone - and it’s good that EH & NT have started a public debate on what it means to people with the History Matters campaign.
