Before the conference, we sent delegates a postcard to fill in about a project they have been involved in, with detail about what the project was all about, contact details for more info and a picture, if possible.

We asked people to bring the postcards with them to the conference to add to a giant map of Great Britain so we could cover the whole map with different projects giving everyone a chance to share their work and show the huge wealth of community engagement work happening across the country.
We were privileged to be able to use as the map a piece of art by Tony Heaton called Great Britain from a Wheelchair. This is a simple, visual pun, constructed from two ex-ministry Vessa Wheelchairs.
During the course of the conference over 90 postcards were added to the map covering it with inspirational projects from Braemar in Scotland to Mousehole in Cornwall.
